Code of Conduct — BalticRuby 2024BalticRuby is committed to providing a safe, inclusive, and respectful environment for all participants. We expect everyone to adhere to the following Code of Conduct (CoC) during the conference:1. Respect and Inclusivity:Treat all participants with respect and consideration, valuing a diversity of views and opinions. Do not engage in discriminatory, derogatory, or harassing behavior or language.2. Harassment-Free Environment:BalticRuby is dedicated to providing a harassment-free experience for everyone, regardless of gender, sexual orientation, disability, physical appearance, body size, race, or religion. Harassment in any form will not be tolerated.3. Professionalism:Maintain professionalism in all interactions. Refrain from disruptive behavior, including but not limited to unwelcome sexual attention, intimidation, or any other form of harassment.4. Collaboration and Inclusion:Foster an atmosphere of collaboration and inclusion. Be mindful of your words and actions to ensure that everyone feels welcome and valued.5. Reporting Incidents:If you witness or experience any violations of this Code of Conduct, please report it to a member of the BalticRuby Org team promptly. Reports can be made in person or via email to hello@balticruby.org.6. Consequences of Violations:Participants engaging in behavior that violates this Code of Conduct may be asked to cease the behavior or leave the conference premises. Serious violations may result in a participant being banned from future BalticRuby events.7. Responsibilities of Organizers:The BalticRuby Org team is responsible for enforcing this Code of Conduct. Organizers will be available to help participants contact security or local law enforcement, provide escorts, or otherwise assist those experiencing harassment to feel safe.8. Acknowledgment:By participating in BalticRuby 2024, you acknowledge and agree to abide by this Code of Conduct.
