the most creative venue for events & leisure in Riga, and the home of Baltic Ruby 2025!
We chose this place because its atmosphere perfectly matches the spirit of our conference — summer-like, positive, relaxed, and heartfelt. That’s exactly how we envision Baltic Ruby.
Here, networking feels like gathering with friends on outdoor benches, the sound of the sea blends with clinking cocktail glasses, and speaker talks feel more like a friendly stand-up show.
Riga is full of tourist spots for every taste. It’s a city rich in history, shaped by a mix of cultures. But we wanted to share the kind of tips only locals would give. So, we asked the Latvian Ruby Community to put together their top recommendations — and even included some of them in the official conference program. We hope you enjoy them!
Local craft beer
Riga is known for its small local breweries and deep love of beer. If you share that passion, we recommend checking out some of the local craft beer breweries and bars — a few are even within walking distance of the venue. Labietis, Lofts, and Nurme are among the highlights. Some of them even offer guided tours!
Michelin Guide Restaurants
For those who enjoy culinary travel, Riga offers plenty of unique spots — including several Michelin Guide restaurants. Some of the most popular and budget-friendly options are Barents, Entresol, Riviera, Lowine, and BABO.
Riverboat Tour
If the weather is nice, a riverboat tour along the Daugava River or through the city canal is a wonderful way to see Riga from a different perspective.
Most tourists head to Jūrmala (Majori, Dzintari, Bulduri) — an old Soviet-era resort town with a unique vibe. It’s just a 30-minute train ride from Riga and offers cafes, restaurants, and spa hotels. For a quieter experience, try Kalngale or Lilaste. These less touristy spots are also about 30 minutes away by train and perfect for peaceful walks through dunes or along the forest.
Urban Trails in Riga
Riga offers plenty of scenic walking, hiking, and running routes right in the city. Stroll along the Daugava river, explore the leafy trails of Mežaparks, or jog through the charming cobblestone streets of the Old Town. Whether you're up for a relaxing walk or an active run, the city has a path for you.
Dance to your own beat right at our venue after the conference day is over. Grab wireless headphones, pick your DJ channel, and enjoy music, lights, and unforgettable vibes in this industrial-chic venue.
Ielīgošana — Midsummer Celebration
Join us for a traditional Latvian Ielīgošana at Labietis Brewery! Enjoy wreath-making, folk singing and dancing, craft beer, and bonfire festivities. A great way to experience local culture and celebrate Baltic Ruby first day. Included in the agenda — don’t miss it!
Of course, you can book a hotel or apartment yourself through Airbnb or Booking.com. But we thought it would be fun if more of you stayed in the same places — it’s always better together!
Since this is a community event, we also wanted to help a bit. We asked some hotels in Riga for discounts — and a few said yes!
Check out our partner hotels — we have both more budget and more luxury options.
If you see something you like, just add the accommodation pack when buying your ticket (or get it separately).
We’ll then email you instructions on how to book with the discount.
Discounts are limited by time or quantity, so don’t wait too long and make sure to take advantage of the offer you choose.
