OSS EXPO
APPLICATION FORM
Imagine a typical sponsors expo like at bigger conferences but instead of company representatives trying to hire you or sell their product, you have open-source maintainers and contributors willing to share the next amazing ideas, helping you to resolve issues with their software or inviting you to collaborate on new features (or long-standing PRs) right at the table.

Sounds cool, right? That’s what we want the OSS Expo at BalticRuby to be — a place for maintainers, contributors, and users to meet each other in real life and supercharge their relationships.
WHAT IS OPEN-SOURCE EXPO?
Digital artwork showcasing a female character with turquoise hair and pink ruby earring, holding a small dog.
CALL FOR MAINTAINERS:
  • teach newcomers how to get started with Your Thing;

  • share helpful tips and tricks with existing users;

  • hack together on features or triage bugs together;

  • meet the contributors (and help them get their PRs merged);

  • present new and upcoming features;

  • promote a commercial version of Your Thing (if any).
We’re inviting OSS maintainers building for the Ruby community to take part in the OSS Expo. We’ll give you dedicated space and time that you’ll be able to spend with the conference attendees to perform open-source activities.
HERE ARE SOME EXAMPLES OF WHAT YOU MIGHT WANT TO DO:
A 3D illustration of a cartoon octopus with a large, blue head, big white eyes, and eight ruby tentacles.
IF YOU ARE INTERESTED, PLEASE, FILL OUT THE FORM.
